Making art is now easier for students and teachers in the county of Annapolis, with a new series of kits of art produced by the Annapolis Region Community Council Arts (ARCAC). These kits Studio a Go, as they are called, are all-inclusive activities and resource supply kits that teachers can borrow from ARCAC for a nominal rental ($ 15 for three weeks). Rental fees help cover the cost of re-supplies, says the project coordinator ARCAC Connie Lowe.
The project was developed in response to the priority ARCAC to work with children and young people. When teachers of elementary and middle schools in the immediate area were surveyed to ask what kind of program or project would be of greatest interest and use, they requested resource kits.
