Font-selection is limited to only three selectors: Site Title, Headings and Body Text.
Though 50 fonts sounds like a large selection, users are stuck with TypeKit. A large number of fonts is not suitable for Body Text because it “designed for larger font sizes” or because the font does not have Italic or Bold styles available.

There appears to be no way to use any other font library with WordPress.com’s current implementation of Custom Design.
Custom Font settings are extremely limited. Even simple modifications like changing the font color require CSS-coding.
This is not a very impressive feature set when compared to other hosted website builder solutions, most of whom offer more fine-grained control over the look and feel of your website or blog without the need to resort to CSS coding....

We love new features at HostBaby and so do our artists. Therefore, we’re pleased to announce a whole bunch of fancy new fonts available for use in the HostBaby Site Builder. Give your site some personality with the 30+ custom fonts now available.

Go learn HTML , CSS, Javascript, and stop relying on stupid tools like these.
"8bit-ish" doesn't mean anything. Neither does "pixel theme". Anything that uses any text has fonts.
You're asking nonsense.
