"This is the worst news in the history of Apple," a seething in an e-mail. "Apple has absolutely no idea what professionals need. There are so many lack high-end features that we need, it should be called iMovie Pro. "
I wrote my review from the perspective of an advanced amateur, I am not a professional editor. I made four films with Final Cut Pro X, including helping my son with a 20-minute final eighth year of the project. I found X FCP infinitely more powerful than iMovie, but far less intimidating than the old cup final.
But in this post, I will address the concerns of professional video editors, one by one. [UPDATE: The information presented here come from consultation with the heads of product X Final Cut Pro from Apple.

Buy a vga splitter cable
Usually when you have an add-on video card inserted into the AGP or PCIExpress graphics card slot on your motherboard, the onboard video is disabled, so I doubt you can.
The best way to drive 3 monitors is to use a video card that can support up to 4 monitors, like these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis t.aspx?Submit=Property&Subcategory=4
