Office 2003 = Entire software package.

Meaning that if you uninstall Office 2003, it will uninstall the entire suite (word, powerpoint, access and so on).

I would not recommend deleting the Office folder that is located in /Program Files/. Use the uninstaller found in Control Panel instead.

Word and Powerpoint are part of MS Office. If you uninstall Office, all the applications within it will be gone.

If you only want to delete part of the Office program, go into the Control Panel and click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
Find Office in the list of installed programs, and click on it to select it.
